  • I bought one of these to help along 8 slow growing money tree suffering a bit from weak indirect light. After one month the trees are growing explosively. Many of the nodes that produce new branches now are throwing out many new branches per node! This is actually problematical since at this rate it will soon outgrow the location. I have other older LED grow light that perform very well but this one is the best . The build quality is amazing given the bargain price. As an America first guy it pains me to admit that Chinese manufacturing is producing some top quality electronics. This is one.

  • My roses love the light. I'm getting a good assortment and they are hard to grow. But the gold ring works to perfection. The only problem I have I finding replacement parts. Light I bought a year ago needs new module.

  • This is my first grow light, and, although I don't have much experience with lights, I can say this light is flipping bright! I don't think other reviewers have made this point clear. The light is insanely bright! Unless you want to go blind, or are already blind, you will need some eye protection to work around this light. I use a green cutting-torch mask. The green mask makes the pink light look white and normal. Also, I can flip the mask down by just moving my head, which makes going from normal light to pink light easier while carrying a tray of plants. I started with the light 18 inches from the plants, but quickly had to raise it to 24 inches and now I'm thinking maybe 3 feet would be better. The light is just so much for my seedlings. The tomatoes, a few days after sprouting, are already putting on 2nd set of leaves. Everything looks lush and green. Obviously the light works very well and I'm so happy with it that I couldn't wait to post a review. At 24 inches of height, the light will shine adequtely on an area about 3x3ft. Maybe more, but the plants on the edges will lean over towards the light. The light by itself will heat the room to a decently warm temperature without getting overly hot. Just warm is all. The surface of the light itself is the temperature of a warm car hood after a good drive around town. Not hot, just warm. The fans work really well. They make noise, but nothing unduly. When you move that much air, there is going to be noise. Nothing about the light seems cheap to me. It's well-made in a sturdy case. Mine arrived in a perfect box in perfect condition. I don't know how this light would compare to the traditional MH or HPS bulbs, but it's hard to imagine it would be very different. Other reviewers have said this light draws about 100 watts when measured (the bulbs don't use the full 3w they're capable of, which is a good thing if you ask me). At 100 watts, it's costing me a penny an hour. No ballast to worry about and I shouldn't have to change bulbs every year. For me and for what I'm needing the light for, this purchase seems like a no-brainer. I read a lot of reviews before buying and this gave me the confidence that the seller, Low_Baller, will take care of me if any problems should arise. I wish more sellers were like this one! I'll update this review if anything notable happens.

  • I bought this light 1 month ago, delivery is very fast,it must have a very efficient team, the light is working great so far, i've started some tomatoes under it and they have begun to grow rapidly, the new growth looked so healthy that it appeared to be shiny plastic! that was a pleasant surprise... even the SUN didn't make this plant do that!!!,i am very happy with this product, it is definitely doing very well ,compared to many so-called automatic switch-off system to protect the LED Grow Light over-heated, your LED Grow Light’s maximum temperature is very cool and quiet ,i think it ensures the LED grow lights work in very good condition and enjoys the longest lifetime, it will definitely maximize your investment of return but i have had some very good results,i am quite happy with it. thx you very much for your business, it was great services, and i wish that every company was as serious as you guys ,thanks for your good service.

  • notice a nice difference in my plants just after 24 hours. Close to no heat comes from the light which is great. Only thing I dont like is the hanger for the light it self isnt adjustable. Would be a perfect product with an adjustable hanger and maybe a safer feeling hook for the light to hang from.

  • This is my first grow (legal medical cannabis) indoors due to a recent overhead privacy invasion by more than 2 neighbors drones w/cameras. I did a lot of research prior to set up and decided to go with a 4x4x7 Apollo tent and LED lighting. I began with one of these 300W w/3 watt chips and the other OFADD 300W unit with 5 watt chips to compare. 3 months ago, four 4 Lemon Larry clones were transplanted from 1 gallon pots to 7 gal Smart Pots in Ocean Forest soil and I hung 1 of each light at 24 over 2 plants for the veg phase. So far, at this time I see no difference in growth between the two lights. Just beautiful production of lush green leaves. With the 2 lights and 6 fans, (2 on the 3w and 4 on the 5w) running an 18 on 6 off cycle, the temp in the tent remained about 77 degrees at 55-60% humidity while running a 4 carbon filtered exhaust fan on low with intake being only a 6 vent opening at bottom of tent with a Shroom filter for air purity. . I added another one of each of these lights for the (12/12) flowering/bloom phase (1@5watt and 1@3 watt) for a total of 300W x 4 and will hung one light over each individual plant So far I really like the simplicity and ease of using these lights! Growth at 6 weeks of the 4 plants grew up to 36 with healthy dark green leaves. The plants under the 3w chip lights seem to be slightly taller by a couple of inches yet not as full as the 5w chip.) Will update again after bloom....

  • Enjoy the light work great on flower. I give it a three cause a week after my light arrived one of the fans stopped working I don't have time to sent it back and wait another 2 weeks before I get a replacement so I'll deal with it for now. Other then that it works great all the LED work. Update. Customer service was great and helped me with the fan problem this light works like a champ. Update. Light Is still at 100% have not had any issues at all and plants love it. Thank OFADD.

  • I have been an indoor gardener for years now and all I have ever used for my flower room was 400 hps...Until I used this light. It's not as powerful as an 400 hps but thats it. As far as quality, there is no comparison, galaxy hydros led wins hands down. Also a problem with the hps was the heat issue especially in summer. I had to vent out hot air and pull fresh air in via blower..Pain in the ass. With the galaxy hydros, I dont have to spend money on blowers or exhaust fans because the unit runs so cool. I replaced my 400 with 2 galaxy hydros. Best descision I've made. I now yeild more with way better results. With hps you are also limited to light spectrum, with the lex you get uv and Inferred. Very happy with my purchase, so much I now have 2 flower rooms with 2 of these In each. Very happy customer!.

  • This is an awesome light and for the price it is an exceptional deal. I have 3 OFADD Plus LEDs now. As a medical cannabis patient and grower for over a decade I will say this tech is worth the money. I'm going to fill the room with these! They are very cheap to power as well! I cut two of my metal halide lights and use these three instead with a single 600 watt HPS and my power bill went down $80 a month!.

  • Wow this thing is bright!! My summer bills from hps lighting and an a/c unit killed me this summer, so here's try #3 for LEDs. I have a P300 that I really like, and one Apollo that's good for veg (at best). My issue with the P300 is the coverage area. For $400, it only covers 2x2 , and that won't cut it in a 4x4 tent. I got this to fill the remaining space in the tent. The main thing I wanted was an LED with IR and UV. That was one advantage over my hps. My biggest yield per plant came from under my P300, and the trichs were insane. I'm sure this will be as good, or maybe better than my P300. Time will tell, I suppose. One thing critics may say is that the 10w LEDs are less efficient, and will build up more heat. I always have my temps dialed in, one of the benefits of running a small setup (for personal use). Time will tell if these will last, especially since they're sold from Hong Kong. Btw...This light shipped to me in Cali in just a few days. I still haven't recieved my 7 gal fabric pots (sold from here in the U.S.), but nobody could've expected this light to ship so fast. I'll update this down the road, for better or worse..

  • Nice LED light system. This is not as Purple/Blue as other lights. It seems to be more full-spectrum. This is almost an overkill for spring seedlings of tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, cucumbers, etc. They all love the light. Just keep the distance in check. It does run a little warm but the holes in the glass help keep the lights cool..

  • Let me be direct. I am a large scale cannabis cultivator. I buy these things in batches of 12 lol. They work amazingly well for flowering and vegging. Use caution: I had two of them 6 inches away from my clone mothers and just a warning, they can fry the plant if lowered too close! I use SOG, and keep the lights 8 inches away from the canopy top. If you are looking for a transition to an LED light, this is the one you want!!

  • On time and Packaging was well done and padded It's been on for 30mins in my 10x15 dorm room situation. Heat went up just over half degree, No big issue whatsoever. Super bright means super bright!! Photos have no filters and haven't been photoshopped! LEDs cast a pretty groovey color pattern here n there, nephews love it- Fan is no louder than a my laptop and my/or a PS4/ XBox system. As with any high watt situation, Do not look at the leds without eye protection of some sort!!! All specs online are correct- I love the compact size and the large area it can cover So far absolutely worth the money!!! Comes w warranty of some sort I saw hopefully I won't ever have to use it- Wish I had a way to hang it from center of room, it's so bright, lights up corner it's in like crazy. Confused on first time LED but? Me too , I bought this one and it's over exceeding every aspect so far.. Highly recommended.

  • If you need a light for a veg/clone tent and don't want to deal with overpriced (and weak) t5's or high-heat HPS lights, then look no further. Perfect for covering a 2x2 area, especially (as I mentioned) for vegetation. The plants receive a good, even light spectrum that keeps them happy and healthy. And, to top it off, here's a little known fact that might help you decide to make the switch to LED: When under an LED, plants generally require less water, and less nutrients, as well as the more obvious lower electricity draw. Testing the lux output against the more expensive (by about 40%) mars II 300w led shows almost complete consistency. There is little to no discrepancy between the actual output, and thought it's a bit premature to say for sure, it seems that the young plants thrive under the SYGAVLED's increased white-spectrum light as opposed to the mars' red/blue focused design.

  • Was easy to affix the light panel and AC adapter to my wire shelf. The lights seem to be more effective than my CFLs and giving my succulents the supplemental light they need while they are inside for the winter. I am still using the CFLs, but plan to replace those with another one of these panels in the coming weeks. Will update my review if necessary. I wasn't paid for this review, and I think paid reviews are disgusting..

  • This item makes a great under the counter (or hanging) light source for anyone wanting to grow pants in need of strong light indoors. I used this to supplement light for tomato, lettuce and broccoli plants until it was warm enough to plant outside. Not only did it keep the plants from getting lanky and spindly, they were starting to outgrow the space under the cabinets. I love that it came with a hanging mount and that it can be mounted flush. Definitely recommend for any indoor grower. My reviews are made after complete use of any product for an extended period of time in order to provide a thorough assessment. I have NOT recieved compensation for my honest and unbiased opinion..

  • Product works great, in my hydro house garden I have; Lettuce, green onions, Red bell peppers, Habaneros, Jalapenos, sage and thyme all filled out across 8-1 gallon buckets, using two of these lights for dense light coverage. Every single thing I've planted in here has sprouted! A couple things I've learned about LED's: -The market is still widely unknown by people, there are many extremely overpriced options. Companies have taken advantage of this -More expensive, higher wattage bulbs are not indicative of more PAR (Photo-synthetically active radiation) for your plants, but deeper penetration. -coverage of areas with LEDs is most important, think of a design you can deliver it best across your area. -Look into adding white and orange spectrum to the blue and red, not needed but will deliver best results. Red is most important, blue secondary and white and orange should be used in small supplemental amounts. I am currently having great success without white and orange LEDs, but it is widely accepted there is a chlorophyll that relies on the middle spectrum for ideal growth. With this being said find a place for your grow, cover the whole thing in mylar (look up mylar roll on OFADD) and use these, they do work. And look noticeably brighter than in the pictures. The highest light intensity plants are peppers, tomatoes and Marijuana. I have sprouted a wide range of peppers much quicker than average, many people have also had great success with tomatoes. Growing marijuana with 2 of these lights in a smaller area, and 2 pure red LED panel lights with mylar and a proper setup will reward many many ounces, depending on amount of plants, as you can expect with other more expensive LED lights but at only 100W total. The difference is most other expensive lights are setup to give people a feel similar to HPS, when they're no where near the same. This light can be very close to the plant, inches away if needed for the heaviest fruiting or budding (until stress is noticed). or a couple feet away for general vegetative growing, to increase the spread (and the mylar will reflect most all) where many other grow lights are made to be far away from the plants, with higher wattage LEDs. I've seen many Aerogarden LEDs (I wanna say 14W?) with mostly white, and spots of red and blue spectrum achieve the same things as some 90W LED lights. When it comes down to it, treat these like light blankets for your plants instead of sun lamps you're hanging far above. There are definitely 2 approaches to it all..

  • I purchased this light to use in my 1 meter square x 63 inch tall grow tent. Since height is a limiting factor for me I did not use the included hanging system. Instead I mounted it to a 22 inch round BBQ grill that allows me to raise the light much closer to the tent ceiling. It also made it easy to hang 4 additional CFL bulbs which could be adjusted up, down and all around individually to meet the plants growing needs. The vegetation growth was outstanding, lush, healthy and filled the entire square area of the tent in less than 6 weeks for a fraction of the electricity used by HPS/MH type lights. UPDATE! 11/12/16 just finished a medical grow using this LED and a Roleadro 300W LED Plant Grow Light Full Spectrum, 2nd Generation Series with a yield of .91g per watt at the wall - most excellent. I had two problems. When the exhaust fan was off to add CO2 the CFLs were adding too much heat inside the tent. In order to correct this I added another LED light: the Roleadro 300W LED Plant Grow Light Full Spectrum, 2nd Generation Series and removed the CFLs. This new light is really bright and easily replaced the four CFLs with way less heat. I am now 100% Roleadro LED powered. Between these two LED lights I really have the spectrum covered. I will continue my review of these lights under the Roleadro 300W LED Plant Grow Light Full Spectrum, 2nd Generation Series after the harvest. Without reservation, based on my positive vegetative growth, low heat and low energy usage I can recommend the Roleadro Hydroponic 270W UFO LED Plant Grow Light with High Efficiency 9 Band Indoor Greenhouse Lamp to any indoor grower..

  • This light kept two potted plants alive and flowering over the winter. When spring came, I brought the plants outdoors. Keeping a seasonal flowering plant alive over the winter, saves $$ in the Spring, as I don't have to buy a new plant every year..

  • Out of all 56 lights, none of them arrived broken or dysfunctional. Only one of them came missing one small part that clips the hanging wires to the light body. I was able to fix this in about a minute by using a zip-tie to secure the connection. I purchased my first set of these lights that arrived 2/24/15, and another second set of these lights that arrived 4/28/15. Every single LED light has worked and continues to work as of 04/16/16. I will update when and if any go out or if anything else fails, and will add my experience with customer service if necessary as there is a two year warranty on these lights. According to my measurements, these lights run at 168 watts and 1.4 amps at 120 volts. They can run 85~265 volts, so amperage will change if you run them at different voltages but wattage will stay the same. Typically, one would expect the lights to run at 168 watts and 0.7 amps at 240 volts. I do have 20 of these lights running on 240 volts, but have not bothered to test the amperage under these conditions. I have three sets of 12 lights daisy-chained on a 20 amp 120 volt circuits. There is a little noticeable heat in the the first few power cords. Some heavier gauged power cords would probably fix the heat issue, but its nothing I'm worried about. I have two sets of 10 lights daisy-chained running on 20 amp 240 volt circuits with no noticeable heat. I have not tested the lumen or lux unit outputs of these lights. I use four of these LED lights to replace one of my 1000w switchable MH/HPS ballast setups. My 1000w MH/HPS ballasts were actually running at 1100 true watts. Four (4) of these lights run at about 680 true watts total, meaning I am saving about 40% on my electricity expenses while running these lights. To me the added expense of purchasing these lights up front will eventually pay off with the money I save on electricity while also reducing the electrical footprint of my crop. All good things. Another thing to consider is the heat these lights put out is much less than hot MH and HPS bulbs. As the year has warmed up I would conservatively estimate I am using 30% less air-conditioning to keep my crop cool, perhaps even more. Also, although not advertised with these lights, LED's typically have a much longer lifespan than MH/HPS bulbs and remain much more efficient in regards to light output throughout their life cycle. It is worth noting that the description for these LED lights suggests that there are two separate modes for vegetation and flowering stages by listing two separate light spectrum requirements for each stage. This is not the case. All of the LED's remain on at all times during operation. Also, the manufacturer suggests a maximum continuous running time of 16 hours a day. I have ran all of mine for 18 hours a day for several weeks at a time with no issues. Also, I do not believe these lights have 9 bandwidths of light. I can only pick out 6 types of led bulbs with polarized glasses over my eyes, so unless I'm missing something these are 6 band lights. This isn't a deal-breaker for me as my plants seem to do great under these lights. A potential buyer may consider a larger LED wattage setup such as a 600w or 1200w LED light. Many are available here on OFADD and elsewhere. The reason I went with these is that I felt that spreading the lighting over a larger space would be more effective for my situation. Also, these lights weigh in at about 7 pounds according to my digital bathroom scale. In my opinion, this low weight makes them easier to hang up, adjust, and move in comparison to other heavier setups. I used the Apollo Horticulture 1/8 Adjustable Hangers also found here on OFADD to hang these LED's. Similar hangers can be found cheaper elsewhere but I found that the Apollo hangers were higher quality products compared to what my local garden supply store had stocked. All in all, I am completely happy so far with this product. Each of the 56 lights has arrived in working condition out of box. The packaging is absolutely spot on and I'm even saving the boxes and packing materials in case I move. As of 7/26/15 this will be my last yield update. I have found that these LED grow lights are not sufficient for vegetative growth on their own. That said, in the past I would use six (6) 1000w MH light setups to veg my plants. I now use three (3) 1000w MH setups and twelve (12) of these LED lights for vegetating. From my observations these LED lights just don't put out enough cool or blue light on their own to vegetate plants to their utmost potential. These lights will work on their own for vegetating plants, just not as well as MH bulbs or with MH bulbs. Although I have not tried it yet, I'm sure cool florescent T5 or T8 bulbs would also work better to use during the vegetative growth stage. See wiki links below. However! These lights work AMAZINGLY for the flowering/blooming stage of plant growth! Either on their own or in tandem with 1000w HPS light setups these lights will produce high quality end product with acceptable yields. My plants yield on average 80-90 grams per plant each cycle. I vegetate for three (3) weeks using 1000w MH lights with these LED lights mixed in as supplemental lighting. Then I flower for seven (7) weeks using only these LED lights. I have tried using just these lights through an entire grow cycle. I have tried using only 1000w MH/HPS light setups through an entire grow cycle, but neither produce as well in both quality or quantity when compared to the method I have listed in the two paragraphs above this one. I suggest doing some research on your own beyond my findings to find a setup that works best for your growing situation. And experiment a little yourself as well! Below are two links to Wikipedia that I found extremely helpful in learning about the variety of grow lights. Hope all that helps! I will update this review again if I feel the need to. It took a bit of experimentation, but as of now though I am completely happy with how these lights have worked out for me. Five Stars..

  • got it in two days, all the LEDS are on, and all 3 fans work and are quiet, and the dimmable switch works perfect. Lots of red great for flowering, got this light to supplement a 250 watt HPS light, did not want to add more heat, but wanted more Lumens this is the ticket. for the Veg side you could add 1 or 2 T5 lamps with 6500 k (blue) to increase its effectiveness. T5's and LED's also work Great together!!! they make 2700k (red) T5's, but this light has Plenty of Red already. the option to dasiy chain lights is a must anymore, and this light has it bonus (240 or 120) and it has a on/off switch, but I use a timer 13 on 11 off. Will have to update in a few weeks know more then? UPDATE: had this light 6 weeks now still works perfect. see photo, Colorado Bubba Kush in hydro 3 1/2 gallon bucket with Advanced Nutrients solution, plumping nicely under LED light mixed with T 5's. lots of Red led's for flowering, this light only has 10 BLUE led's so it lacks for VEG side. blue has more energy than red so any extra blue light (6500k) is a plus. tiny closet is all you need! no ventilation required when the heat is low.

  • I tried to switch to this 800w from a 300w in the middle of the flowering phase and the light was so intense, my poor babies got burned! I had to go back to the old light for the duration of this grow. It is VERY bright. I recommend getting the glasses that protect your eyes under the LED lights. I am excited to start a new grow with new clones this week. It runs a little hot, so make sure you have a fan or two in the grow space to keep things cool and to offer a fresh, light and tropical breeze for your plants. I only used it for a week or so, but I have no complaints. I've used OFADD products before and have never been disappointed..

  • I bought two lights 4 months ago and they have worked perfectly. Plants seem to love them and are dark green veg. and good buds. Just received a third light after the first two have proven themselves. Started second round of plants and all look great.Have run lights 18/6 for veg. and 12/12 bud. I use T5 light from seedling to 3 weeks them they grow fast under these 1000w led..

  • What a difference the 10W LEDs make!!! This is my fourth LED grow light, 2 of them from a VERY expensive mfg. My plants like this light as well or better than the other 3. It is brighter by a very noticeable amount . I like so well that I've ordered one of their 600W UFO lights for the nursery.

  • Great light spectrum. Lightweight and efficient. Perfect for growing. Reaches all deep leaves. Incredible growth. Was hesitant ordering a no-name brand. Did not dissapoint.

  • I had a pleasant buying experience with the products being as described and very fast shipment. I ordered on the Dec. 10th, they shipped on the 11th and I received on the 16th and hung the same day. Units are small and the double LED chips are bright and all plants seem to be happy after 10 days..

  • So far so good. My tomatoes love them and my grow area is cooler and requires less ventilation. I won't have a final verdict until harvest and I will update my review then. I will say that both lights arrived within a week- from China! They were also well packed yet not OVER packaged and arrived safe and sound..

  • I bought this light to provide high light intensity for a research project without a lot of heat. These lights gave more than 1000 um/m2/sec of PAR light. The lights were easy to set up and came in good shape. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an inexpensive source of light for growing plants..
